Older or fragile originals sometimes need special treatment: in certain cases we use a mylar carrier to protect documents during scanning, and documents that need repair (rips, tears, holes) are prepped before scanning. Some document preparation services require a small additional cost.

Your documents are scanned to whatever format you need — PDF, JPG, or TIFF — in color or black & white. PDF copies can be indexed with relevant information for easy retrieval, and we can work with you to determine the right resolution for your project (around 200 DPI is typically sufficient, though detailed drawings or artwork may need a higher DPI).
